How is this done?
Simple. Ask the client what they want and then try to create the finished space as close to this aspiration as possible. In most cases this revolves around asking as many questions as possible before decoration begins. For example is silk emulsion paint required because of the need to wipe clean, or is matt needed to diffuse the light and prevent reflection. The above photo is a lounge that was decorated with Farrow and Ball estate paint to help enhance the period fireplace and surrounds.
I employed Bill to paint my lounge (left) and bedroom (below), and I was very pleased with the result. He was very helpful working around my kids and my schedule and he was very tidy and cleared up at the end of each working day. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Creating the mood.
An example of a medium sized lounge in Ashford, Kent where the owner employed me to paper a feature wall with a beige flower paper and match this with a light chocolate silk emulsion they had chosen for the walls. The finished result was a vibrant yet relaxed tone throughout the room.
